Here comes the newest release in a long-running combat FPS franchise often positioned as a grittier response to Call of Duty.

"It's likely that we couldn't build and design Battlefield 6 lacking the lessons we had in the previous title," Rebecka tells us.
A key those insights was to get fans engaged from the start, and the developers launched closed player trials in recent months.
This "response was incredibly encouraging," states Rebecka.
One more missing ingredient from the last game was a story mode, which has been brought back for this release.
Criterion design director Fas Salim is the individual responsible for "guaranteeing those stages are as enjoyable and compelling as possible for the players."
Regardless of allegations that the size of the project had created pressure for the multiple developers partnering internationally to develop the game, he is upbeat about the work.
"Working with diverse backgrounds, distinct backgrounds, it's a really interesting environment to be engaged with daily," he explains.
"This whole method has been an innovation but also really thrilling because we are collaborating with individuals from internationally."
Regarding the expectation on the crew, Fas comments: "We feel stress but also it's motivating.
"We're dealing with a large project. It's arguably the biggest that most of us have ever been involved in."
New Developer Contributes Innovative Perspective
This is definitely true of no less than an individual developer, visual designer Vlad Kokhan.
This young professional produces the visual ambiance that define the atmosphere, tone, and focus of the solo experience.
The artist undertook an training period at the studio preceding obtaining a position there, and presently operates with reduced hours while concluding his digital arts qualification at his school.
He says he's a long-standing enthusiast of the Battlefield series, and remembers playing the previous game of the franchise at a friend's house when he was younger.
