Former Doctor Accused of Assault Charges Against Thirty-Eight Patients
Legal authorities have stated that a ex- doctor now faces charges for carrying out sexual assaults involving thirty-eight victims who were patients.
Details of the Grave Charges
The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with dozens of sexual offences – comprising some against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 and 2021.
One deputy chief CPS official stated, “Our prosecutors have worked at length to assist a thorough and intricate investigation, carefully reviewing the available evidence to determine that there is sufficient evidence to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
Scope of the Investigation
The charges come after what investigators called a “detailed inquiry” into alleged sexual offences at two hospitals: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and Russells Hall hospital.
Spencer is scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.

- Fifteen counts of sexual assault.
- 17 counts of penetrative assault.
- Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- 3 counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen.
- 1 count of attempted penetrative assault.
