We strongly denounce Donald Trump's offensive and harmful threats of violence against congressional representatives, and call on GOP representatives to strongly do the same."
The Democratic leaders also said that they had been in contact with protective services "to ensure the security of these members and their loved ones."
"Donald Trump must right away remove these radical online messages and withdraw his aggressive language before he leads to violence," the announcement stated.

"We are ex-military personnel and security experts who love this nation and took an vow to defend and support the founding document of the United States," they stated. "That oath continues forever, and we intend to maintain it. No threat, pressure, or promotion of aggression will deter us from that sacred duty."

"Our service members should understand that we have their backs as they execute their vow to the founding principles and obligation to follow only proper directives. It is not only the correct thing to do, but also our obligation."
They stated: "All citizens must come together and censure the former president's requests for our execution and ideological conflict. This is a moment for moral clarity."

The Republican leader also according to sources told media outlets that in what he read of Trump's posts, Trump was "explaining the violation of sedition" but that "attorneys have to examine the wording and determine all that."
Administration Statement
During a White House press conference on that day, when inquired by a reporter, "Is the president want to kill members of Congress?", the executive branch representative responded: "No."
"It's important to note about what the former president is responding to," the official said. "There are current representatives of the federal government who conspired to organize a video message to individuals of the US military, to active duty service members advising them to ignore the commander in chief's lawful orders."
She stated: "The purity of our armed forces depends on the command structure, and if that structure is violated, it can lead to fatalities, it can lead to confusion, and that is exactly what these elected officials ... are essentially promoting."
